This degree took 5 years to complete but it was totally worth it. 3 years spent on hardcore engineering (physics, calculus, chemistry, biology, zoology) and another 2 studying how pollutants and waste travel through ecosystems.
I tried to acquire knowledge in 3 areas I consider fundamental: Engineering (how things work), Economics (how the world works) and Management (how corporations work). Nowadays I focus more on digital skills.

It was a long time since I had my brain challenged like this and I loved it. In 9 weeks I went from basic HTML knowledge to building full web applications with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and deploying to production.
Team Treehouse is my go-to coding learning tool. From Photoshop to data science, this site has almost every digital skill one needs to learn in 3-minute videos and a good gamification engine.
